Valerie has had the honor of being featured on the cover of several local publications. Her photography has won awards multiple years in a row, including "Best Portrait of a Child" for her image "Innocence of an Angel" in 2012. She has served as the Membership Chairman for Professional Photographers of Washington and is a member of The Professional Photographers of America. 

 

Valerie stays current on cutting edge photography techniques both as a teacher and a student. She attended the Evergreen School of Professional Photography and studied under renowned photography instructor Bry Cox and she continues to keep her knowledge on the forefront with today's advancing technology.

 

As a business owner and photographer, Valerie is active as a volunteer in the Olympia community. She has contributed to "A Family For Every Child" by volunteering photography for children in need of forever families. She also mentors high school seniors who develop a passion for photography.
